Really cute film…

This is a pretty fantastic little film…the animation is just so believable, and it’s really saying something that they can express so much emotion without the characters having faces!

I also love the shading and lighting in this…simple, but effective. I’d like to know how they did it.

My son’s first birthday us coming soon, so I wanted to create a video compilation of some of his milestones this year. First sneeze, first time standing, first raspberries, first crawl, first steps, etc…they’re all in there.

I know these kind of things are cheesy and often uninteresting to people who don’t know the creator, but to me it’s so very special to be reminded of how much he’s already grown. And in an era where everyone has a camcorder in their pocket to capture little moments like these, documenting how fast life goes by becomes that much easier.

Most of these came from my Path feed, by the way. I truly love that app, it makes such a nice chronicle of our moments.

My kid actually has to tolerate the cat, if you can believe it.
